Job Market 2009-2010 Timetable
Beat the rush and be sure to make hotel and airline reservations as soon as possible.
| Week of September 21 | Request at least 3 faculty members write reference letters for you. Notify Arianna as soon as possible who will be writing letters for you. |
| Tuesday September 29 Noon, Harkness 113 | Job Market Informational Meeting |
| Monday, October 5 | Resumes & abstracts due by 4pm. |
| Tuesday, October 6 | Brochure to the printers |
| Thursday, October 22 | Department brochure mailing |
| Monday, October 26 | Letters of recommendation due. |
| By October 26 | Provide Arianna with envelopes labeled for each institution you wish your letters of recommendation sent. First come first served. Letters of recommendation are sent as quickly as possible to your target institutions. |
| November | Schools will begin calling you to schedule interviewing appointments not only for the ASSA meetings but other times too. |
| Week of November 30 | 2 half hour Practice Interviews per person with 3 faculty members. |
| January 3-5, 2010 | Annual meetings in Atlanta, GA. |
